About these terms

These terms apply to your use of theunbakedbakery.co.nz, run by The Unbaked Bakery (“we”, “us”, “our”), 206 Devon Street West, New Plymouth, New Zealand. They cover your account, membership, shop orders and workshop bookings. By using the website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

Your account

You need an account to become a member. You must be 16 or older to create one, and the details you give us must be accurate. Keep your password private. You’re responsible for anything done using your account, and your account is for you alone, so please don’t share it.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example by sharing members-only recipes publicly.

Emails from us

By creating an account, you agree to receive emails from us, including:

• account emails, such as your welcome email and password resets
• confirmations for your orders and workshop bookings
• new recipe announcements, while you’re a member

These emails are part of the service. If you’d rather not receive recipe announcements, email us at hello@theunbakedbakery.co.nz and we’ll take you off the list. You’ll still receive emails about your account and orders. We’ll only send you marketing emails if you’ve agreed to them.

Membership

• Membership gives you access to every recipe in our library and new members-only recipes while your subscription is active.
• New members get a 7-day free trial, limited to one per person. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your membership starts and your card is charged automatically.
• Memberships are billed monthly or annually, in advance, and renew automatically until you cancel. All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST.
• You can cancel at any time from your account. You’ll keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and won’t be charged again.
• We don’t give refunds for part-used periods, unless the law requires it. If something’s gone wrong, such as a mistaken charge, contact us and we’ll sort it out.
• If we change the price of a membership, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first if you’d like.

Using our recipes

All recipes, photos, videos and other content on this website belong to The Unbaked Bakery. You’re welcome to make our recipes at home for yourself, your family and friends. Please don’t copy, share, publish or sell our content, or use it for a commercial business, without our written permission.

Allergies and dietary needs

Our recipes and products may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs and soy. Dietary labels are a guide only. Please check ingredients carefully, and ask us before ordering if you have an allergy. Our recipes are for general interest and are not medical or nutrition advice.

Shop orders

• All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST.
• Your order is confirmed once payment has gone through. If we can’t fill an order, we’ll let you know and refund you in full.
• Fresh products are collected from our shop on the pickup date you choose. Posted products, such as the recipe book, are sent free within New Zealand.
• See our Shipping & Returns policy for delivery, pickup and returns.

Workshops

• Workshop spots are confirmed once payment has gone through.
• If you can’t make it, let us know at least 7 days before the workshop and we’ll refund you in full. With less notice we can’t offer a refund, but you’re welcome to send someone in your place.
• If we need to cancel or reschedule a workshop, we’ll let you know as soon as possible and offer you a full refund.

Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By paying, you also agree to Stripe’s terms. We never see or store your full card details.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep the website accurate and running smoothly, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for any indirect loss or damage that comes from using the website or our recipes.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986 or any other New Zealand law that can’t be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page. If we make a significant change, we’ll let members know by email. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction.
